We arrived at Methodist hospital for induction at 6am. The doctor broke my water around 9am and increased my pitocin. The contractions came on strong. After enduring about 30 minutes of the contractions I decided it was time for an epidural. I'm so glad it worked, because I felt sooo much better. About 3pm, I started pushing and at 438pm Egan arrived. It wasn't really painful until the last 20 minutes. I have to say overall it was a great birth experience. We are so grateful that Egan is a very healthy baby.
