Our trip to the zoo

So, Tuesday night Pete and I had 7 children. My Aunt Becky was in the hospital for a procedure and Aunt Bridget and Uncle Kevin were watching their 3 youngest children for those few days. Then, a relative of Bridget's passed away and they had a funeral to attend so we watched Adam (13), Ivan (10), Anna (7), Mara (4), Olivia (2) and our two kids starting Tuesday late afternoon until Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday we ventured to the zoo. Don visited from Methodist where Becky was recovering and joined us for the morning at the zoo. The kids had a blast! Since my cousins all live several hours from Omaha they don't get to go to the zoo often, so this was a treat for them. We saw the jungle, desert dome, creatures of the night, gorillas, bears and aquarium in about three hours.
