Book Review #46-49

These last few books have all been review copies for my blog or book club. I just bought the first eight books of the Left Behind book series from Lincoln's library sale, so I will be starting that soon.

On another note, my goal for the year was 50 books and I am only one away. Very excited to reach one of my goals a whole two months early.

46. Six Pixels of Separation by Mitch Joel (review copy) - Read the review here. Good book about the importance of being connected.

47. Isn't It Romantic? Ron Hansen (book club) - This was a very short 208 page book and it was not a favorite. A French couple land in a small town in rural Nebraska, become part of a local festival and start wedding rumors. There is confusion, romance and love triangles in a comedic setting. In my opinion, the book jumped around alot and it was hard to keep all the characters straight. It would have been much better if the storyline was elaborated and the characters better developed. To me, it felt more like an outline of a story instead of a novel. The book club discussion was about as short as the book, lasting less than an hour. Not much to talk about with such a short book.

48. Rich Dad's Conspiracy of the Rich by Robert Kiyosaki (review copy) - Read the review and enter to win a copy by November 4 here. Great book. Everyone should read it.

49. Girl on Top by Nicole Williams (review copy) - Here is my review. I was not fond of this book.
